Is there a way to have the same special characters provided under DeJavu in other fonts? When I borrow a special character from a font other than the font I'm using in my document, it usually stands out and shows incohesion with the rest of the paper. For instance, under DeJavu special character list I was able to find an h with a dot underneath it, however under Times New Roman, or Venentian, this special character is not found. I do have the help manual, but it did not provide any clue about this question.Īlso, I noticed that certain special characters are available under certain font lists but not others. This method was successful with certain other characters, but not this one, or the next special character. I was totally unable to do it by using Alt+0100. For instance, say that I want to enter the special character number 0100 in the list of the special characters provided under Times New Roman. I am trying to figure out how can I enter a special character using its number.
